Title: Anonymous' Constitution
Post by: Magnaniman on April 28, 2016, 12:12:24 PM
So, Anonymous, the hacker group, has moved from making (mostly) empty threats about revealing secret information, that they supposedly have, to writing Constitutions.

Here's their announcement:  https://youtu.be/FI4HagtgTPQ

Here's their constitution: http://www.humanityparty.com/proposed-constitution.html

Points of interest:

- Abolition of states and redistricting of voting regions in each election based upon registration
- Laws may only be passed by unanimous approval of Congress (very interesting concept!)
- Complete disarmament of the people
- Unconditional acceptance of any foreign power wishing to join America if they willingly choose to do so, according to their own laws
- Pursuit of happiness is a right

I have some thoughts on this, but I'll put them in different posts.  What do you guys think?

Just remember that there is no such thing or group as Anonymous. There are many individuals who pursue activism as "Anonymous." Think of it not as something that you are, but something that you do. That being said, this is another positive indicator of my critical assertion that in the age of the internet, when people start waking up, they're looking for something significantly different, to many of us at first, like a revolution. Upon embracing a more philosophically consistent perspective, we come to realize that while we may be experiencing radical change very soon, it is more evolutionary than revolutionary.

The good news is this attempt at altering the constitutions shows that people are thinking and challenging the existing order.

My big problem is the us constitution has no legitimate authority for a number of reasons.
* It is a distraction to keep people running on rat wheels in doomed attempts to improve our worlds... until they burn out...
* Lysander Spooner's "Constitution of No Authority" does an excellent job of detailing why you, me, and a handful of others cannot create a system of rule that binds generations without their approval and ability to opt out or into other systems...
* Constitutional limits are ignored by those in power...
* The us constitution was created in secret to overthrow the previous Articles of Confederation...
* The new us constitution allowed very few people to vote... While using a system that is an incredibly stupid central planning substitute for Free Markets & Individual Freedom...
* You & I & a handful of others do not have the right to decide for everyone... And they don't have the right to decide for us...
* Those who lead by example have no constraints...
* Those who cannot or will not lead by example are prime examples of what not to do and who not to listen to... Elected or not...
* Each of us has the ability to decide for ourselves who will provide what services to us and the right to go into competition with anyone or just say "No" to anyone's products or services...

None of us has the ability to protect ourselves. Others will always outnumber us.

The only way to create a society... where more and more people have more and more Individual Freedom and All of Its Blessings - Abundance, a Final End to Slavery, Competition that Will Counteract the Stupidity of Government Monopolies & Cartels, Growing Peaceful Interactions & Tolerance Through Out The World, and an End to Abusive Power Over Others by Ruling Elites - is to Protect the Individual Rights & Freedoms of Those We Neither Like Not Approve Of...

The only source of freedom is our willingness to protect each other from anyone and everyone who would rule us and deny our ability to choose, refuse, or compete with anyone in any category.

And it's a pathway that doesn't require everyone to agree... There is a tipping point. I don't know where it is; but, I intend to help find it.

It is my conclusion, there is no other way.

I am arrogant! But I have learned there is incredible wisdom in everyone around me. Some of it in simple daily activities surround me. Much of it in fields I don't even know exist... Therefore I reserve my right to be wrong and change my mind if better performing solutions come along.

May You All Live Long, Free, & Blessed,

Disarm everyone?? Why?? That still implies a ruling class and a disarmed citizenry. That's even worse than what we have now. I'd NEVER vote for that

Why disarm it is one of our most important rights and to give that up is a perfect ticket to more slavery I will keep my guns as an unlienable  right as a private individual thank you

There has always been something about "Anonymous" that rubbed me the wrong way...can't tell if it's some rag-tag hacker group or a CIA created distraction.

i think if they were a CIA distraction it would be more organized with a definitive body and hierarchy.
