Well, the surprising Trump candidacy and victory has inspired many people to take seriously the idea of California state secession!  Not the most ideal circumstances for people to arrive at the idea, but I'll take it!

I know Texas is trying to get secession put on the ballot to let the people decide for or against.  There are a few groups/organizations like Texas Nationalist Movement (TNM), New Republic of Texas and there is another one that is slipping my mind right now.  There were several other states discussing secession as well.  I know the Convention Of States has been trying to get something done.  Here are some links to the groups in Texas working for secession, https://www.facebook.com/texasnatmov, http://www.thetnm.org/
