lol Since I honestly don't think Mom forgot how to read, I'll go with her lack of interest or just plain stubborn. Older and set in her ways I suppose. She mis interprets my resistance to the state, the police, and the government as, well, I'm not really sure. I am admittedly anti- alot of things such as anti-organized religion, anti-police, anti-racism, anti-government, anti-war and the list continues... I don't often "broadcast" it, but I will not hide it either. I am PROUDLY anti- all those things. And I raise my daughter as such too. She's an amazing little person. She downloaded FREEDOM on her school issued I-Pad to read. She didn't get in a ton of trouble for it, but, if I remember correctly, did catch a little static from a couple teachers. She's 14 and beginning to notice a little more each day how government is "rule by force" and violence and that its just wrong. I was raised completely opposite that and took the long road to "enlightenment". (For lack of better terms...) and hope she doesn't follow in my footprints. I have very high hopes for her and her future. The highest hope being simply happiness. To have a successful career or a family, or neither. But real HAPPINESS and contentment in whichever path she chooses. I got a little off topic there. My apologies.
I have downloaded the audiobook of FREEDOM a while back and will try to get my mom to give it a chance. Although I don't expect her to come around to my side of the street, hopefully her view on the message will be more accepted than less. Either way, gotta love Mamma. My stepdad however is hopless but thats a whole other topic.

DesignPatentGuy - Good to know hear that people are coming from "the left" as much as the "the middle" and "the right" especially when the right is so prominent.

mrshl5000 - She said "couldn't read it?!?" Couldn't?!?! As in, she forgot how to read? Or was it that she couldn't take the time to understand something you care about?
