Strategy/Organization/Ideas / Re: Secession through geography
« on: May 20, 2016, 12:01:43 PM »
I'm sure the road to Freedom is paved with secession in different forms. I have access to land in Northern California (owned' by my mother and stepfather). I would love to see Jefferson State take hold so I could have access to more Freedoms than here in the central valley of California. I'm guessing that it would only take one or two states to secede from the union and the rest would fall like dominoes. If memory serves me, last time there was a large secession movement we called it a civil war. Personally I would prefer a peaceful secession movement and that's where problems of the old/established/violent powers giving up control to a new path for humans to take comes into play. I'm not sure how to solve these problems, but I wish any individual or group luck for their personal secession goals and needs.

I finished watching the video, and I got the book yesterday. I'm sure I'll read the book off and on as I get the time, but the video already has me thinking on a different spectrum. It's easier to get people to watch a video so I'll try to share the video with people I know. If they choose to get the book, the more power to them.

I watched about 30 minutes of the video yesterday, and I'll continue watching as I get the time.

Thanks for sharing. Rosenberg has an interesting take on life. I like it.

I'm a prepper in the sense that we grow some of our own food around here. We also raise chickens, ducks, turkeys, rabbits, worms and bees.

I'm guessing that some things preppers and voluntaryists/anarchists have in common is their sense of independence and a lack of dependence on outside sources to survive. Collectively speaking people are stronger as a group but not all groups are strong. Government has to force' everyone to join their collective because their ideas would be hard to sell in a free market.
