Introduce yourself! / Re: Welcome to The Freedom Line Forums

Stradog - I have a secret stash of 10 first edition copies left. You can earn one, or wait until I'm ready to auction them off!

The schedule for the tour is up at http://thefreedomline.com/calendar. Four dates in Texas. I just got all the FB events up and linked there.

We would love to have you help with media outreach! We just recruited our Chief Media Coordinator, Amanda Parsons, and she would love to have you on the media team. If you can help get interviews, that would make you a great asset and she can make sure no work is duplicated. If you want to do more like help her getting out press releases or anything else, that would be great and we can support those efforts.

KIM!

Great to have you here! I had no idea you were such a recent convert. It's always important to remind ourselves of how so many people come to the message in different ways and that many people (like myself 16 years ago) identify as Libertarian while still on the first part of their awakening journey.

TL;DR She's right!

California / Re: California State Organization

Thanks, Josh! Just got you added. Sorry I didn't get to this before the convention. Too late for McAfee, but in his case, the important thing would be lobbying delegates, not door hangers. I was talking to as many delegates about him as I could in Orlando. We still need a venue for October 29 in San Diego. For tour event venues, we're looking for quiet, large classroom/small theater or church type places. Easy access, easy parking, easy to find. 5-10pm ideally, but 6-9 at least. No food or drink.

Strategy/Organization/Ideas / Media Team

When we start raising serious money, I'd like to hire a "Chief Media Coordinator" for the campaign who could not just do the normal work associated with that position, but also coordinate a team of volunteers who would be willing to help score interviews and media coverage for the campaign. But until then ... anyone want to volunteer? Who is interested in helping? Anyone got any ideas to share about this?

James - Welcome!

DesignPatentGuy - Good to know hear that people are coming from "the left" as much as the "the middle" and "the right" especially when the right is so prominent.

Stradog - Thanks for being a great founding member!

mrshl5000 - She said "couldn't read it?!?" Couldn't?!?! As in, she forgot how to read? Or was it that she couldn't take the time to understand something you care about?

The land I was looking at was in the range Slow poke said. We are just a few miles south of Ash Fork. Loving it here!

Yeah ... not that I thought he'd have a good answer, but this is really disappointing. I thought by now he would at least have a respectable answer to that question.

Sounds like a good way to select for people who are at least politically inclined.

ThoughtWater - Thanks for the great suggestions! Could you give me links and what sections they should go under? If you could cite as many of Molyneux's works as would be helpful, I'll add them to each section.

I'm on Cell 411. Seems like the most immediately useful tool. (Moving to appropriate subforum.)

Lane - HAHA! Thanks for sharing. How soon do you think you can wake up enough people in Australia to help organize a tour there?

Could you give me a link to that FB page to share here? How do you want people to be able to contact you if they want to get involved?

Taylor - Awesome! Got you added. Can't wait to see what you come up with for material! Please share it in the "Strategy/Organization/Ideas" subforum so organizers in the rest of the country can see it.
