The young turks are a bunch of statist boot lickers. I only know OF it but prisonplanet.com is another. Libertariannews.org but i haven't gone there much

I saw on instagram after Cruz bailed, a few people saying they now support the libertarian party. Which is great! However, it boggles my mind that you could go from warmongering imperialist to the LP. Cruz wants to be at the forefront of every conflict. He defended NATO. I also don't believe he supports a free market. Trump isn't much better except maybe on foreign policy and I think he's more supportive of a free market. I'll vote for McAfee if he's the nominee. Otherwise, i'll write in Ron Paul. I have this kind of guilty pleasure in watching Trump. I want to like him but he's mostly just a Republican. I digress. Austin Petersen praised Cruz and it was just ridiculous. Maybe it was to try and get some of those votes but come on. I couldn't vote for that guy. Just me?

Polymathpangram, you're absolutely right. Brainfart. I've been watching your YouTube ranch videos Adam. I hope Juniperwood's success can spread like wildfire. There was a commune type place where I live in North Carolina that was self sustaining, off the grid, kept to itself and everything but the city shut them down saying it wasn't sanitary. I'm sure it was because they just wanted to be left alone.

I'm not a great writer by any means but it's a boring Wednesday night in hippie town and I had a thought. A couple years back a bunch of Republican trendys signed a petition to secede from the union in various states. I don't disagree in principle. There should be anger that people are slaves of the state. There should be outrage that the government lives by a different set of laws, if any laws at all. However, their delivery system for this missile of rebellion was an electronic file submitted on a government website. It was on the MSM. So i'm sure it was talked about in realms of the signers. If that energy could've been aimed at spreading liberty and freedom, secession would've occurred naturally. I'm sure some of you have heard of the free state project. A movement to get 20,000 liberty minded folks into Maine. They reached the goal and now have seats in the state house  (or senate idk). Maine wouldn't be my first choice but for freedom, i would do anything. Imagine if a movement could be started to get libertarians, rational Republicans, real progressives and a whole slew of other people to move to an entire region. Like the southeast (Republican mostly but I think Republicans are persuaded more easily), where the entire region could simply ignore the federal government. No need to fight or bicker, simply ignore. The states can operate independently until a problem arises. Sound familiar? I'm sure there were more points I had but i've forgotten them.

That takes some heuvos, man. Are you in SK? I saw a documentary on VICE about this pastor who gets NK defectors through Laos and somewhere else after being maneuvered through China. I'm pretty sure he's in SK. Maybe he could provide some suggestions.

That is really helpful! Like you said, I think my problem is trying to argue that point rather than just plant the seed. State the facts in a philosophical "I think X is a better alternative than Y." Instead of "X is definitely better than Y and here's this, this and this data point." I'm 19 and I tend to try to jam facts and reasoning down their big fat mouths instead of a more nuanced way. Thanks for the help, dude!

I live in a town of socialist hippies in North Carolina. The people here have always been Democrats. It's like a natural political machine. I don't usually engage people about politics because they're not willing to listen. They say i'm naive for thinking a free market will work. They however, are quick to express their opinion. "I love Bernie. He's just so honest. He's been consistent for 40 years. I'd vote for Hillary if she gets elected (sic). She's the most qualified out of anyone." I have a knack for fast comebacks so I usually say something like "if a restaurant has consistently bad food, would it be open for 40 years?". Or for Hillary, "If a CEO lost $6 billion dollars for a company, would they remain CEO?". For those who don't know, the state department lost $6 billion under Hildawg because of wrong filings and mistakes. I'm sure some of it went to some pockets. Anyway, it's always just blown off as political ammo or they change the subject. My point being, some people won't change until it's cool to. No amount of of logic can change that.
