Hello.  There are a few pro-freedom things happening in NH.  It is the home of the Free State Project, which recently met its goal of at least 20,000 ppl. willing to evenually (5 years I think or less) pull up stakes and move here to try and get active in liberty/freedom and effect positive changes.  We have no:

State Income Tax

Seatbelt Laws

Helmet Laws

Very representational govt.  For a small state there are like 435 State Reps in the State Govt.  every town has at least one.  This makes it harder to get laws passed, but that is a good thing.

Of course the seatbelt and helmet laws DO exist for minors.

>>>>>>>The points we have to work on still:

Property Taxes are larger than the regional average

The people moving up from high tax areas like Mass and NY are gumming up the works, making the southern edge cities more of a higher regulation and taxation friendly environment than the rest of the state.

There is still a Business Profits tax, which discourages small business despite the good points.

We are all just looking for a good place to be left alone.  While no place is perfect, there have been people here who have a lot of success at it.

Keene is a central hub of pro-liberty media.  I reccommend LRN.FM for interesting programming.
