Big FREEDOM! Stuff > Living FREEDOM!
Nonviolent Communication
Adam Kokesh:
This is the single most important book you will ever read other than FREEDOM! It will redefine your relationship with yourself and everyone else in your life. I almost put this in the strategy section, because you really can't hope to convince someone else to embrace a different worldview without applying these concepts. You might already be using some of them subconsciously. This puts it all into an easy to use communications formula with wide applicability. I watched the seminar, then had to read the book, which I've read twice. Macey and I watched it together when we started dating and our relationship would not be possible without it. She's read the book twice too now. You're welcome.

Or you can watch one of the author's seminars on YouTube:
Nonviolent Communication - San Francisco Workshop - Marshall Rosenberg - CNVC.org
The one time I got caught on camera using this technique directly in a confrontation, it got almost 300k views:
Would-be bully gets #KOKESHED (nonviolent communication in action)
Slow poke:
I'll check it out. Thank you
AndrewG:
This really clashes with how I spread the message of Freedom.
1)Invite someone to dinner.
2) Have shotgun pointed at them as they come through door.
3) Copy of Freedom on the table.
4) They have one hour to read it.
5) Short comprehension quiz.
6) Dinner time (provided they scored at least a 75%).

...JUST linked your 'would-be-bully' confrontation video in another thread, attributing your success to empathy. At least, that's the short answer to nonviolent communication. Can't wait to see what Rosenberg brings to light in this seminar. Thanks!
Precariat Elitist:
I watched about 30 minutes of the video yesterday, and I'll continue watching as I get the time.
Thanks for sharing. Rosenberg has an interesting take on life. I like it.
